Wolves howl at the moon for a variety of reasons. They howl to mark their territory, to connect with their pack, to socialize, and to call for assistance. Basically they howl to let you know they are there.

This wolf moon is all about boundaries and connection. Keeping in mind that mercury is still in retrograde the full moon is the time to expand your territory. If you are a lone wolf this may be a great night for you to go hunting for a new pack. Just remember that Mercury is still in retrograde. It’s a good night for a hook up but don’t commit to anything.

Wolves love to socialize. Tonight is the night to get your pack together and go on the prowl. Connect with your tribe and get out on the town and howl. You may even find other packs that are ready to merge. Just be careful of wolves in sheep’s clothing…or sheep in wolves’ clothing. Tonight everyone is going to be getting their wolf on. People get a little crazy on the full moon. Many are going to feel sheepish in the morning. So another word of caution. Don’t let your night go to the dogs. Stick with your pack and stay safe.

The theme for this wolf moon is boundaries and connection. For you empaths: You will be challenged to firm up your boundaries as it’s likely going to feel like everyone is invading your territory. Stand your ground and you will find this year will be the one that you carry that strength with you.

For you social butterflies this is not the time to flit from pack to pack. Be careful that you don’t lose your pack when the boundaries get firmed up. Packs will be closing rank on this full moon. This is a good time to consider your loyalties and stick to your tribe.
